BaselWorld 2012: Novelties of Twenty-8-Eight Collection - Twenty-eight-Eight Seconde Retrograde Watch by DeWitt
Launched in 2003, the Seconde Retrograde watch was the beginning of one of the most famous collections of the watch company DeWitt. Literally from the first days the wristwatches became a bestseller and won huge amateurs around the world. Paying tribute to the huge success in 2003, the watchmaker DeWitt has presented at the annual international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 a new watch Twenty-8-Eight Seconde Retrograde (Ref: T8.SR.001), which differ a little more than a thin case of its famous predecessor.
The smooth contours of the case lugs create an exceptional wearing comfort and treated with micro beads and polished bezel and the sidewalls of the case form the play of light, making the reborn design more vivid and dynamic.
Black "galvanic" color of the dial gives a surprisingly deep and big relief to the new model. On the dark background are contrasted applied hour indexes from rose gold, which seem strung on an invisible thread. A simple movement of the brush creates on the original dial the play of light and reflections - the whole "choreographic performance." The design of the dial is added by a little retrograde display, the pattern of which resembles a lively breeze flames.
