BaselWorld 2013: Le Brassus Tourbillon Carrousel by Blancpain
The Swiss watch brand Blancpain at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2013 has introduced a new model Le Brassus Tourbillon Carrousel (Ref. 2322-3631-55B), combined the two watch complications - the tourbillon and a carousel. They are used to compensate for the effects of gravity on the accuracy of the watch.
The model has a round polished case in diameter of 44.60 mm and a thickness of 11.94 mm in 18-carat pink gold. The watch water resistant - 30 meters.

The enamel ivory dial, made by Grand Feu, is equipped by applied gold Roman numerals, two central hands to indicate the hours and minutes. On the dial with guilloche in the centre, at the 3 o’clock position is placed a circular date aperture with blued hands and Arabic numerals. At the 12 o'clock there is the "flying" tourbillon, and at the 6 o'clock position - the carousel. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.
On the backside of the case is also set a sapphire crystal, through which is visible the work of the Swiss manufacturing caliber with manual winding Blancpain 2322 with bridges and platinum in 18-carat gold. The diameter of the mechanism is 35.3 mm, thickness - 5.85 mm, it consists of 379 components, assembled at 70 jewels, fitted with two silicon balance spring, frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 168-hour power reserve.
The Le Brassus Tourbillon Carrousel watch is available on a leather strap with a buckle made of 18-carat pink gold.
