Blancpain presents a new Saint-Valentin Chronograph 2012 watch for the lovers’ holiday
Each year, the watchmaker Blancpain creates unique luxury watches for Valentine's Day. This year an exclusive women’s watch, which design is "enveloped" by romance, is intended for the fair sex. The new chronograph with flyback function is encrusted with precious stones weighing 2.95 carats.
Adorned with delicate guilloche, the mother of pearl dial is provided by 8 diamonds as hour markers. At the 12 o'clock position is an oval date aperture. The opposite side of the central hand in the form of a red heart is painted by hand with a feather. The use of the feather creates a beautiful convex shape of a heart. Three white chronological indicators performed also in the form of hearts, are installed at the 6, 3 and 9 o'clock positions.
The round case of the novelty from 18-karat white gold has a diameter of 36 mm. Bezel and lugs are set with one row diamonds. The caseband has 4 diamonds and heart-shaped ruby. The front side of the case and the case back are equipped with a sapphire crystal. The crown, decorated with a diamond cabochon, is placed at the 3 o’clock position 3, and buttons of stop- start and flyback function with ruby cabochons are set at the 2 and 4 o’clock positions respectively. The water-resistant of the model is up to 30 meters.
Inside thecase is built in an automatic Calibre F185 at 37 jewels. The caliber has 308 components with rotor, decorated with pink mother of pearl.
The new watch Saint-Valentin Chronograph 2012 comes on a white alligator strap. The novelty is released in a limited number of 14 items and will be available exclusively in boutiques of Blancpain.
