Blancpain presents a new Villeret Demi-Fuseau Horaire 8 Jours

In September 2011 the famous Swiss brand Blancpain completes its collection of watches Villeret by the new model Demi-Fuseau Horaire 8 Jours with the indexing function of the half-time zone, sophisticated by the display of the 8-day power reserve. The complicated model allows you to adjust the second time zone in a 30-minute interval. The function makes it easy the usage of the second time zone while traveling to countries with different time zones.
The watch is designed based on the caliber 5235DF Automatic. The mechanism consists of 324 components, and developed in the workshop of Blancpain. A unique gauge includes a triple series-coupled barrel system, which guarantees the 8-day power reserve and the sustainable movement.
The balance of the mechanism is made of titanium. Titanium was chosen because of its light weight and high efficiency. The titanium balance provides a high accuracy, which are regulated by the micrometer manufacturing screwed system.
Coated with the white enamel the dial is characterized with painted markers. The reference time is displayed in position 12 hours, while a half-hour time zone - in the center of the dial. In the position of the index 9 is an indicator of the day / night for the countdown. The aperture of the date set on the position 6 o'clock. The dial indicator is modified by the time zone.
On top of the crown it is adjusted a special button of the rapid correction and time zone setting mode. The selected mode is displayed on the position of 4 o’clock. When the watch owner corrects the approximate time, the second time zone automatically changes.
The model case Villeret Demi-Fuseau Horaire 8 Jours is made of white or pink gold. The transparent case back with sapphire crystal makes possible to admire the exquisite pattern of the guilloche oscillating weight. The watch strap is made of natural crocodile leather.
