New Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Open Hometime Watch by Montblanc at SIHH 2012

The Swiss watch company Montblanc, constantly astonishing everyone with its excellent models of watches at SIHH 2012 exhibition, held in Geneva, has presented a fascinating model of Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Open Hometime (Ref. 107 067) from the Nicolas Rieussec collection.
As it is known, the collection gets its name on behalf of the brilliant French watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec, who created the first graphical chronograph in 1821.
The company Montblanc has introduced a new version model called Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Open Hometime, performed in a circular 18-carat red gold case in diameter of 43 mm and thickness of 15 mm. The anthracite dial is divided into two parts: the upper part is a separate window of hour indication with white Arabic numerals and two hands, and in the lower part, at the hour markers 5 and 7 are two joined counters of the chronograph. Between the counters is an open part of the mechanism, and at the 3 o’clock position - the aperture of the date. The original dial is protected by the domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective compound. At 3 o’clock position is a crown of red gold, adorned with the company’s logo. The chronograph button, made in the form of a rectangle, is set to 8 o’clock position. The watch back side is closed with a sapphire crystal, which allows enjoying the work of the manufacturing automatic movement MB R210. The mechanism consists of 295 parts, assembled by 40 jewels, frequency - 28 800 vph, power reserve - 72 hours. Mechanism, decorated by «Geneva stripes» pattern, is equipped with the functions of display hours, minutes, date indicator Day / Night – at 9 o’clock position, the second time zone display, located on the rotating circular disk inside the main dial with red pointer on the center.
The novelty is complemented by a black genuine leather strap with double folding clasp in 18 carat red gold. The watch water-resistant is 30 meters.
