Villeret 1858 Vintage Tachydate by Montblanc

The Montblanc watch company will officially unveil at the upcoming watch exhibition SIHH- 2012 in Geneva, a new model of a single-button chronograph Villeret 1858 Vintage Tachydate.
Novelty is the owner of a perfect round case with fine lines of polished white or rose gold. The case diameter is 43.5 mm and the thickness is 13 mm. Water resistance of the watch is relatively small - only 30 meters. The crown at the 3 o'clock position, decorated with the logo of the company, provides the functions of the stop-start and reset buttons. The case on the top is equipped with a sapphire crystal that serves also as a transparent case back.
The model with the case in pink gold is equipped with a golden dial, which is lacquered ivory, and the model with the case of white gold is decorated with silver. Both options of the dial are marked with Arabic numerals and have blued hands. At the periphery the dial is graduated by a double tachymeter scale.
The novelty is based on the manufacturing mechanism Minerva 16.32 with manual winding. The caliber, paved with 22 jewels, provides a 50-hour power reserve and a balance frequency of 18,000 vph. Time display is carried out by the central hour and minute hands. Small seconds are showed on the pointer at the 9 o’clock position. Date is indexed on the round indicator at the 6 o’clock position, and the timing functions are fixed by means of a red central seconds hand and a 30-minute indicator at the 3 o’clock position.
An elegant leather strap completes the look of luxury image of the Villeret 1858 Vintage Tachydate watch. The strap is equipped with a gold buckle. The novelty is released in a limited edition of 58 items of the case with rose gold and 58 instances of the case with white gold.
It is unknown at what price will be available the Villeret 1858 Vintage Tachydate watch, but they go on sale in the spring of 2012.
