Special Edition Tangente by Nomos for ''Doctors Without Borders''

German watch brand Nomos continues to cooperate with the international non-governmental organization “Doctors Without Borders”, which provides medical care to people affected by armed conflict and natural disasters.
The company has released a special limited edition model. It should be noted that for the first time a limited edition model run of 2,000 copies was released in March 2012. Now the manufactory has released a new special limited edition watch Tangente.
The novelty is presented in two versions - with case diameter of 32.8 mm (Ref. 123.S3) and with case of diameter 37.5 mm (Ref. 164.S2). The polished case in thickness of 6.55 mm, the model is made of stainless steel. The watch water resistant - 30 meters. A sapphire crystal closes the white dial, fitted with black Arabic numerals, except the figures «12», made in red, the central hour markers and hands.The small second’s hand is located at the 6 o’clock position.

The Tangente model operates on the base of the manual winding caliber α (Alpha) - Nomos with functions of hours, minutes and seconds.
To buy a watch is available at a price of $ 2,140 or $ 1,840, depending on the size of the case. Each version of the model is released in a limited edition of 1000 items. $ 100 from the sale of each watch goes to help the needy. The model will be available for sale in the U.S. this summer.
