BaselWorld 2013: Ahoi and Ahoi Datum by Nomos

German watchmaker Nomos at the international watch exhibition in Basel has presented the sporty watches Ahoi and Ahoi Datum. Models differ from each other only by the date aperture (Ahoi Datum).
The watches have round polished cases in diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 10.64 mm of stainless steel. The watch water resistant - 200 meters. On the milky white dial are placed black Arabic numerals, hour and minute hands, as well as the small second’s hand in red at the 6 o’clock positions. The second model Ahoi Datum has the date aperture at the 6 o'clock position. The blue central hands are covered with fluorescent substance. A sapphire glass protects the dials.

The novelties Ahoi and Ahoi Datum are equipped with in-house movements Epsilon (undated version of the model) or Zeta (the version with date).
The watch is delivered on a black strap with a buckle made of stainless steel. The kit also includes a leather strap and a tool for their shifts.
To buy the Datum Ahoi watch is possible at a price of $ 4500 and the Ahoi watch at a price of $ 3940.
