BaselWorld 2013: Tambour eVolution GMT steel by Louis Vuitton

Known company Louis Vuitton at the annual exhibition of watches and jewelry BaselWorld 2013 has unveiled a novelty Tambour eVolution GMT steel, for the producing of which is used an innovative black metal composite MMC (Metal Matrix Composite), which is mainly used in the aerospace industry.
The watch has a round case with a diameter of 43 mm, made of stainless steel. The watch water resistant - 100 meters. The case is complemented by the fixed bezel made of MMC. On the crown, placed at the 3 o’clock position, and decorated with the Louis Vuitton’s logo, too, there is an inset of the MMC.

The multi-level black guilloche dial is equipped with applied Arabic numerals, hour markers, hands with white luminous material. The special red central hand provides for displaying a second time zone. On the flange of the dial is a round scale with a second’s markup. At the 3 o’clock position is the date aperture, and at the 6 o'clock position - the index of the day / night. A sapphire crystal, set also on the back cover, protects the dial.
The model Tambour eVolution GMT steel is equipped by a Swiss automatic movement Louis Vuitton LV71, on the 25 jewels, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve, functions of hours, minutes, seconds, date, day / night and the second time zone.
The watch comes on a three-row stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
