First Pilot's Watch Spacecraft by RJ-Romain Jerome
Manuel Emch, CEO of RJ-Romain Jerome launches a new project with the participation of the two known watchmakers - Eric Giroud and Jean-Marc Viderreht. Their creative ideas embodied in a unique model, called Spacecraft.
In the first sketches, Emch Manuel and Eric Giroux have presented a different type of product in which the retro-futurism is combined with time complications. As noted by Eric Giroud, "Design of the model is developed with each new discussion. That is what makes it so great."
The novelty characterizes by a new titanium case with an unusual trapezoidal shape in a black PVD-coated. The rectilinear profile and multi-faceted surface of Spacecraft reflect the aesthetics of the spacecraft. The black rotating disc with a displayed on the sapphire crystal red pointer shows minutes on top of the case, and the linear watch display is displayed on the side of it.

Behind the original design is hidden a complex mechanism, under development by Jean-Marc Viderreht. The mechanical self-winding caliber was developed by the Geneva company Agenhor exclusively for RJ-Romain Jerome. Viderreht says, "is an unprecedented combination of four features - side, linear, jumping and retrograde display."
The caliber is equipped by a special cage with coil, control indication of hours, visible on the side of the case as the red cursor red, which every 60 minutes is moved under a sapphire crystal. It is available to watch the uninterrupted running of the minutes on a black disc on top of the case with the titanium plates.
The Spacecraft watch is supplied on a black woven nylon strap. The model is released in a limited edition of 99 items.
According to Manuel Emch, "We have created a concept that shows a brand new approach, which plays with an innovative, modern and original watchmaking."
