Roger Dubuis Excalibur Table Ronde - a Watch for Knights of the Round Table

In 2013, the watch company Roger Dubuis presents another novelty from the Excalibur collection - Table Ronde. The designers tried to revive the legend of the Round Table of King Arthur and his knights with the creation of this model.

The watch dial is created by analogy with the picture of Winchester Round Table, written in 1552. On an enamel disc is shown a round table of King Arthur with the Tudor rose and diverging from the centre contrasting stripes. As the hour markers are the 12 gold figurines of knights with swords uplifted to the center. 45 mm gold case with beveled edges perfectly emphasizes the dynamic design of the dial.

Roger Dubuis Excalibur Table Ronde – a Watch for Knights of the Round Table

The Excalibur Table Ronde watch is designed based on RD822 automatic movement with functions of hours and minutes. Time indication is carried out by means of the central hands.

A black crocodile leather strap with a buckle in 18 K rose gold completes the new «knightly» model.
Presentation of the novelty will be held at the forthcoming annual Salon of Haute Horlogerie SIHH 2013, January, in Geneva.
