Watch with a Skull by RJ-Romain Jerome

Being an avid fan of modern art, CEO of the watch company RJ-Romain Jerome Manuel Emch has announced a partnership with world famous brand of Swiss painter John M Armleder, working in the genres of performance, installation, sculpture and painting. The result of a unique collaboration began 10 items in which, as the main motive was to use the human skull. As Manuel Emch noted, he had always admired the work of this talented master, who refused any form of classification, preferring instead the principle of "constant questioning" to use the hybrid interpretation of different genres.

Art-DNA (Ref. RJ.T.AU.AR.001)

The new Art-DNA (Ref. RJ.T.AU.AR.001.01 to RJ.T.AU.AR.001.10) watch is represented in 46-mm case, made of polished stainless steel. The back cover is engraved with a signature of the artist and an inscription Piece Unique. The bezel of the model is also made of polished steel.
A skull is hammered on the top polished dial, and the base bottom of the dial is lacquered in different colors, creating a subtle play of light flicker. Each of the ten models is "spreading" its own color. The central hour and minute hands, by which time is indexed, are plated with rhodium and luminescent material Superluminova (blue emission).

The novelty functions on the base of the manufacturing automatic movement Caliber RJ-001A. Collected by 23 jewels, the caliber has carrying frequency of 28 800 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve.
