Oris Presents Raid 2012 Chronograph

It is not a secret that today many famous watch brands cooperates with a particular sports team or sponsor events related to the world of sports. This, on the contrary, inspires athletes to reach new heights, and watchmakers to create new original models.
One of these brands is a Swiss company Oris, which is the official representative and partner of the racing classic cars RAID. The successful collaboration is celebrated with the release of a new chronograph - RAID 2012.
The idea of the watch creating is not accidental: the inspiration was the car - a winner of races RAID Suisse-Paris in 2011 - Cadillac of 62 Series, 1942.
The chronograph, designed by skilled hands of Oris’s masters, is presented in a classic style, with an indicator of the second time zone in 24-hour format.

Oris Raid 2012 Chronograph

Gray-black dial features Arabic numerals coated with fluorescent material Superluminova, two pointers at 12 and 6 o’clock positions, 4 hands, one of which is provided with a yellow tip to indicate the second time zone. The other three hands carry indication of hours, minutes and seconds.
The company logo is located at the 3 o’clock position. The pointer at 6 o'clock position is the date aperture.
A double domed inner anti-reflective sapphire crystal closes the dial.
The original dial is inserted into a round stainless steel case. The back side is decorated with the race RAID Suisse-Paris logo.
The watch is water resistant to 3 bar.
The novelty is built based on the automatic mechanism with the function of the hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, date aperture, and a second time zone indicator.
The model comes on a black leather strap with a folding clasp in stainless steel.
To buy Oris Raid 2012 Chronograph watch will be in a luxury wooden box.
Issue of novelty is limited – 500 items. In Switzerland, the watch will be priced at 3,900 Swiss francs.
