Originally, the RAID rally was organized by the French car manufacturers to test their quality in Africa. But in the early of 90s RAID reformatted into the rally for vintage cars built before 1975. The scenic route of the race, 600 miles long, is stretching from Basel to Paris.

The black dial features white Arabic numerals, pointers at the 12, 6 and 9 o’clock positions, the date aperture - at the 6 o’clock position. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the case on the top. The back cover is engraved with the «RAID Suisse-Paris» logo.
