The Swiss watch company Oris at the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has introduced an exciting new watch Oris Artelier Regulateur (Ref. No. 749 7667 4051). The novelty is a part of the Oris Artelier collection and is created to emphasize the tradition and quality of brand’s watchmaking.
The Oris Artelier Regulateur watch follows an old tradition in watchmaking, which is associated with old precision pendulum watch - "regulators", which have been used as guardians of the exact time. It is for these watches watchmakers established the exact time at the entire portable watches. The earliest copies of the pendulum "regulators" have appeared in the 17th century and were used mainly by scientists and researchers.
The round case in diameter of 40.5 mm model is made of stainless steel. The typical structure of such a watch dial has always been perceived as synonymous with accuracy and clarity. The minute hand of the watch was usually installed in the center and hour - on a small subsidiary dial.
The original design of this watch is completely preserved. The silvered dial of the Oris Artelier Regulateur watch is adorned with guilloche and equipped with applied indexes. The dial in the style of "regulator" has the central minute hand of a large size, the hour hand on a separate dial set at the 3 o’clock position, a small seconds hand at the 9 o’clock position and the date of the aperture at the 6 o’clock position. The polished nickel hands are covered with luminescent material Superluminova. The dial is protected by a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The case back of the watch is closed by a transparent mineral glass, which allows observing the work of an automatic mechanism Oris 749, compiled on the basis of the caliber Sellita SW 220.
At the 3 o’clock position is placed a steel crown. The case design of the Oris Artelier Regulateur watch is added by "lugs" to attach a leather strap with a folding clasp.
The watch water-resistant is 50 meters.
