The watchmakers of the company Romain Jerome have come up with, probably one of the most "cosmic" model, presenting it to the most ambitious watch exhibition - BaselWorld 2012.
According to company’s representatives, the watch contains on the dial a small amount of lunar dust, which is in a very small amount on our planet. "Cosmic" style and image are complemented by the strap made of a material with inserts ISS, which is used for the manufacture of space suits.

The model Moon Dust - Black Mood Chrono (Ref: RJ.M.CH.001.01) operates on the basis of mechanical caliber RJ001-CH1 with automatic winding and chronograph function on the basis of 23 jewels. The frequency of the mechanism balance is 28,800 vibrations per hour. Power reserve of the model reaches 42 hours. The watch water resistance is 30 meters. Functions: central hands, indexing hours and minutes, small second’s hand, which is located at "9" o'clock position, chronograph function, a 30-minute counter is located at the 3 o’clock position, 12-hour counter is located at 6 o’clock position.

The watch case in diameter of 46 mm is made of stainless steel with black finish PVD. The bezel of the model is made of carbon fiber and black PVD coating, including details from the famous Apollo 11 spacecraft.
The black dial of the model is made of mineral material, consisting of lunar dust and the pattern that creates the illusion of the lunar surface, engraved by hand. The case finishing is designed as a satin polishing.
The hands of the model are black coating with Superluminova C1 treatment. The watch strap of the model is made of rubber in black or a choice of genuine crocodile leather with carbon fiber inserts from the space suit ISS. A buckle is made of stainless steel with black PVD coating.
