L11 Collection by Armand Nicolet at BaselWorld 2012

At the world exhibition BaselWorld 2012 the Swiss company Armand Nicolet has introduced a series of classic watches L11, released in a limited edition of 499 instances.
Men's watches L11 - a perfect embodiment of classic design, uncomplicated by the excessiveness of the finishing. An elegant, discreet design reflects the passage of time in all simplicity. On the dial there is nothing superfluous, all items are made in strict classical style. Oblong hour markers repeat the contour of the rectangular case; the central hands with an elegant and sophisticated silhouette have a classic spear shape.
Indications of time can easily be read through a rigorous design, minimizing. The watch shows only the main time. The indication of hours and minutes is carried out by means of the central hands; the small second’s dial is placed at the 6 o’clock position.

Main value of this model is the mechanism of 1959 - FHF 70, on which is built the caliber AN0712A (diameter - 23.7 mm, thickness - 7.4 mm, manual winding, 16 jewels, the vibration frequency of the balance - 18 000 pc / h, power reserve - 34 hours , tuning accuracy is performed in 5 positions). The mechanism is fully adapted to modern specifications, equipped with anti-shock system and the anchor escapement Incabloc of Swiss production. The reliable caliber is installed in a steel case (dimensions - 48x29 mm, thickness - 9 mm).
