M02 Collection by Armand Nicolet at BaselWord 2012

The company Armand Nicolet, known for its high-precision watches, created on the base of old movements, this year at the annual exhibition BaselWord has presented the M02 collection, in which fully realized the technological advances of the brand.
Line M02 is designed for connoisseurs and lovers of fine watchmaking. All models are assembled on the basis of vintage mechanisms, adapted to modern requirements and complicated by various complications.
The collection includes four models, combined the total design concept and different complications:
M02 Day & Date Ref. 8740A-GS-M8740 and M02 Day & Date Ref. 9740A-NR-P974NR2 are collected on the basis of the mechanism of AN 2846-9, equipped with a function display of hours, minutes, seconds (by using central hands), date and day of week (indicator located at 6 o’clock position).

M02 Complete Calendar Ref. 9742B-BU-P974BU2 is equipped by a caliber AN 9201/2824-2 with the function of indicating hours, minutes, seconds (by using central hands), date (a pointer to a peripheral ring), day and month (hand-type counters, located at 5 and 7 o’clock positions), the Moon phases at the 12 o’clock position.
M02 Chronograph Ref. 9744A-AG-M9740 - based on the mechanism of AN 2045/2824-2 with the function of indicating hours, minutes, seconds (by using central hands) and the chronograph (counters are located at 3 and 9 positions).
All indicators are harmoniously integrated into the dial’s structure, designed by 3D advanced technology. Beyond the classical appearance of the case and dial it is perfectly designed graphics.
The dial of the models is multi-level models: the central part is decorated with guilloche and "ringed" by matt or polished surfaces. Due to these design techniques, the indicators visually stand out, without diverting attention from the basic layout. The central Dauphine-shaped hands are covered with fluorescent material, the digital layout is large.
All models of M02 are made in classic style, but with different colors.
