Return to the roots: the new Kairos by Chronoswiss
After the huge success of watch collections Pacific and Lady Collection, the Swiss company Chronoswiss decided to revisit the classics. For the upcoming international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 the company Chronoswiss will present a new version of its award-winning models of watches Kairos. Design of the novelty is inspired by the watch with the same name, which was released in 1990.
Kairos of new generation repeats the external image of its great predecessor, but unlike it has a readable dial with a central location. A large aperture of the functional day and date is located in the 3 o'clock position. The dial is decorated with an elegant silver guilloche characteristic of this line.
The elegant case with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 14.75 mm is made in several versions: stainless steel, 18K red gold or stainless steel with a DLC-coating.
Chronograph is designed on the basis of the manufacturing movement C.771 with a diameter of 30.00 (13 ¼ lines) and a thickness of 7.90 mm. The caliber on the 25 jewels is equipped with a balance Glucydur, Nivarox hairspring and shock-proof system Incabloc. Balance frequency of caliber is 28 800 vibrations per hour, power reserve of 48 hours. The skeletonized rhodium-plated rotor is decorated with the Cotes de Geneve pattern. The plate is decorated with Perlage and bridges are adorned with the Cotes de Geneve pattern. Blued central hands in the style of Breguet Losange are guilloche.
The novelty comes on the strap from the Louisiana crocodile leather with a folding clasp.
