Wristwatch Pennsylvania Tourbillon (MM 2) by the company RGM at GTE 2012 exhibition
At the annual exhibition GTE 2012 the American watch company RGM has presented its incomparable watch under the name Pennsylvania Tourbillon (MM 2). The model is equipped with the first U.S. tourbillon; it combines the best traditions of American Horology and great design. The manufacturing movement one-minute tourbillon of watch Pennsylvania Tourbillon (MM 2) was developed in Lancaster located in Nebraska (USA).
The model name Pennsylvania was chosen not by chance, as the name of one of the states in the U.S. At first time the model was presented at the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors in Columbia, Pennsylvania, where the novelty of company RGM Pennsylvania Tourbillon (MM 2) was estimated by collectors and watch connoisseurs. The round case of the model with diameter of 43, 5 mm and thickness 13.5 mm is made of stainless steel. Silver guilloche dial has two gold plates at 12 o’clock position with a logo of the brand and serial number at 6 o’clock position. The date aperture is located at position 3 o’clock, and tourbillon – 9 o’clock. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal. The back of the watch is also covered with a sapphire crystal, which allows enjoying the work of the manufacturing machinery with manual winding on 19 rubies, frequency of balance is 18,000 vibrations per hour. Parts of the mechanism, most of which are made by hand, are decorated with guilloche-style «Cote de Genève».
The company RGM produces watch Pennsylvania Tourbillon (MM 2) in limited edition with cases of different materials. The dial of each piece is engraved serial number.
