Yesterday in Geneva, the company Franck Muller Group and Roberto Cavalli Group signed a cooperation contract. This means that fans of both brands will soon see wrist watches Roberto Cavalli by Franck Muller.

The watch company Franck Muller will develop and manufacture new products. Watches will be sold in 130 boutiques of Roberto Cavalli throughout the world, beginning in the autumn of 2012. Both male and female watches Roberto Cavalli by Franck Muller will be presented in three price categories:

entry range for 1250-3000 euro,
core for 3000-6000 euro,
jewelry image worth more than 6000 euros.

Details of the joint project so far are kept in secret. It is not known what exactly would constitute the watches. However, it is clear that this partnership is bound not only by commercial interests, but also personal motives. At a press conference, Frank Muller said that his wife got married in a dress by Roberto Cavalli. Roberto Cavalli himself joked:

"My watch will be much prettier than yours. Life is a competition. I would like to create something entirely new, in what people will instantly fall in love - as if this is a dress by Cavalli".

In fact, today it is issued watches under the name of Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli. The last line is aimed at young people and will remain on sale, while watch collection of Roberto Cavalli will be withdrawn from sale, which would allow remaining the focus over the joint project of Franck Muller Group and Roberto Cavalli Group.

Vartan Sirmeykes (the founder of Franck Muller) said: "I am very proud of the beginning of this cooperation. And in the future our brands will do many things together." Thus it is likely that only the release of wrist watches of Roberto Cavalli by Franck Muller the partnership will not come to the end.
