A New Polaris Black & White by Grieb & Benzinger

In the spring of 2011 a new watch line Benzinger Boutique of the German watch brand Grieb & Benzinger was released. Since then, the watch company Grieb & Benzinger started to produce watches that meet any wishes of the buyer. The latest novelty has become a watch model Polaris Black & White, released in October this year.
The round case of 18-karat rose gold has a diameter of 43 mm. Characteristic of the company's dial with off-center display, on which hours and minutes are indexed, is hand-decorated with guilloche. The display with a seconds hand is located at position 6:00. Through the transparent caseback one can see an amazingly beautiful mechanism, which also guilloched and skeletonised by hand.
The model is designed based on mechanism-driven, enhanced with the use of parts of company’s production.
For creating the watches the company spends a lot of time due to the large amount of manual work. In the year the company produces a total of 100 models. The strap of the models is made of genuine crocodile black and white skin and features with a gold buckle. The price of the new items is 33 500 euros.
Grieb & Benzinger is the German company, famous for its unique creations in skeletonised and guilloche watches. The founders of this brand are the German watchmakers Jochen Benzinger and Herman Grieb. It should be noted that Benzinger and his watch partner George Bartkovyak for many years produced watches for brands such as IWC, Faberge, Chronoswiss, Tour.
