In 1989, Henrik and his wife Charlotte Jorst left their native Denmark and moved to the United States to follow the dream: that of running their own business, to introduce the Danish life style and philosophy to Americans. In the United States, they founded the company Skagen Designs, producing luxury jewelry and watches at the attractive reasonable prices.

Nowadays the company Skagen  is an international company with head-office in Reno, Nevada, and the extensive network of the offices in Denmark, Hong Kong, Germany and the United Kingdom. The main specialized boutique is located in the small town of Skagen, Denmark.

The company Skagen Designs is one of the rapidly developing companies in America, and in 2009 it celebrated on a large scale its 20th  anniversary.

Over more than two decades the company has released many models of men and women watches. The wide range of the models is characterized by the simple design performance, reflecting the Scandinavian simplicity and embodied in the appearance of the cases and the bracelets.

In the creation of the cases and the bracelets are used the high-quality stainless steel and the high-tech Swiss movements. As well as it is possible to have the  variant which is made of titanium with an integrated in the case corporate's recalculate strap.

The dials are equipped with sapphire crystal and the indicators of the time. The hands and the indexes are covered with the white luminescent material.
