History of DeWitt brand and Academia collection started in 2005 when Academia Tourbillon Différentiel watch-model was released. For it the company got “Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve”. The model was a unique piece of art, movement, tourbillon and patented system – everything made perfect ensemble.
Prestige award became the starting point for a company before a “jump” into a world of high horology and finding there one's place.
