Frederique Constant Perpetual Calendar Manufacture in Burgundy, Limited to 100 Pieces

Frederique Constant has released a burgundy-dial edition of its Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture, limited to 100 pieces. The Geneva brand's perpetual calendar is one of the most affordable in-house perpetual calendars on the market; the new edition costs £9,350 in the UK and $12,995 in the US, compared with £8,695 for the regular, non-limited version.
A burgundy dial
The main surface of the dial is sunray-brushed burgundy, while the calendar subdials have a circular engraved finish. The perpetual calendar shows the day, the date, the month and the leap year, and a moon-phase display with laser-engraved stars completes the layout. A perpetual calendar automatically takes into account months of different lengths and leap years, so it does not need to be corrected at the end of short months.
In-house calibre FC-776
The watch is powered by the automatic calibre FC-776, developed and made by Frederique Constant. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 72 hours. The movement is decorated with perlage and Côtes de Genève.
The 40 mm stainless steel case is about 12 mm thick and water resistant to 50 m.
