BaselWorld 2012: Index Moon Timer Automatic Watch by Frederique Constant
Swiss watchmaker Frederique Constant at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has unveiled its gorgeous novelty - Index Moon Timer Automatic (Ref. FC-330B6B6).
The novelty, executed in an elegant classical style, is a luxury single-button chronograph, modified by a function of indicating the phases of the Moon. The round watch case with perfect smooth lines is made of polished stainless steel. The large case in diameter of 43 mm contributes to the maximum wealth of information on the black dial.
In the center of the dial the minute track is located, and on its periphery is placed the outside ring of date. Date is indexed by a special hand with the red tip of the red in the form of a triangle. An elegant display of moon phases is located at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is graded by applied Arabic numerals in contrasting white. The central hands are covered with white fluorescent substance.
The front side of the novelty is protected by a convex sapphire, which also serves as a transparent case back. At 3 o'clock position on the case the crown is set down.
Inside the case of the novelty is built a manufactory automatic movement FC-330, functioning with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing a 42-hour power reserve. The transparent case back allows you to enjoy the delicate finish of the mechanism and its quiet uninterrupted progress.
Waterproof of the novelty is 100 meters.
The Index Moon Timer Automatic watch is delivered on a hand-sewn calfskin strap or a sporty stainless steel bracelet (Ref. FC-303B6B6B). The strap color - dark brown or black - is combined with the color of the dial.
