The new Sparkling Treasures of the Sea model by Angular Momentum of Switzerland
Nowadays Swiss watches are considered best in the world, they are the icon of style, quality and precision. Many companies produce Swiss watches of various types: sports, diver, aviation, classic and other models, but Angular Momentum watch company has always been standing out among other Swiss watch brands with its inimitable sophisticated models. The head of the company, master watchmaker Martin Pauli, is proud of the fact that his company consists of the only person – himself. Martin personally produces all watch parts: cases, crowns, movement holders, dials and artworks, applied to watch dials and crystals. Moreover, he assembles and decorates all his models himself by hand. The famous watchmaking expert personally refines the historical movements, used in his models, at the company's ateliers, situated in Bern, as well. Specialists from other companies are involved very rarely, only for performing complicated guilloche works or precious stone setting. Such approach to his work has enabled maestro to gain worldwide renown and build up his own clientele from around the world in a rather short period of time. All Angular Momentum pieces are unique, which increases their collection value dramatically. Everyone would like to have his own unique timepiece, made by special order and hand-decorated in a unique artistic technique. Martin Pauli uses a wide variety of decorative technologies in his work: it can be the unique Japanese Urushi lacquer technique or application of miniature paintings on watch crystals in the Verre Eglomise technique or the Japanese high relief Takamaki. Many of these decoration technologies were revived by ancient drawings and sketches and are used solely by Angular Momentum of Switzerland. Among the company's produce there are both women's and men's wrist watches.
Martin Pauli doesn't stop gladdening the brand's admirers with his rich imagination. His recent Sparkling Timepiece Collection has raised the interest of more watch collectors and high watchmaking art connoisseurs towards the brand's products. The dials, the crystals and the cases of this collection's watches are dusted with diamond glitter and diamond dust, splitting light at different angles, creating unique, fascinating optical effects. The latest Sparkling Timepiece Collection family representative is the Swiss Sparkling Treasures of the Sea model. It is enclosed in an Angular Moemntum signature “Cup” shape case, made of 1.4435NcU Staybrite stainless steel and mirror-polished. The watch is driven by the refined ETA 2512.1 caliber with manual rewind, produced in 1959. The model's crown is also made of 1.4435NcU Staybrite stainless steel and supplied with a cabochon onyx. The case back is a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, lacquered and dusted with diamond splitters on its back side. The dial of this masterpiece of high watchmaking art is covered with black Urushi enamel, imitating black sand and incrusted with diamonds, splitting light at different angles, which creates the sparkling, mentioned in the model's and the collection's names. The Sea Treasures, decorating the dial are executed in the Takamaki high relief technique and are extremely natural. The watch's “face” is adorned with small pearls, fixed to the dials' enamel as well. The front crystal is made of highly scratch-resistant sapphire.
