An independent watchmaker Konstanin Chaykin presents his latest novelty called Carpe Diem, which translates from the Latin as "seize the day", "enjoy the moment". This expression is one of the odes of the Roman poet Horace.

The novelty has a round case with a diameter of 45 mm in 18- carat pink gold. The handmade dial, made of 18 - carat pink gold, is decorated with 11 diamonds. At the 9 o`clock position is placed an hourglass, under which is located the skull. The Greek god of time – Chronos is holding the hourglass with one hand. At the bottom of the dial, at the 6 o`clock position is set an optional dial with black Roman numerals and a blued one hand intended for the display of hours. The indication of minutes is provided through the hourglass. At the 3 o`clock position is placed the current zodiac sign. A sapphire crystal protects the dial.
