Vulcain Presents Nautical DLC Timepiece

The Swiss watch company Vulcain has released a new watch Nautical DLC (Ref. 100152.024L DLC) in a round case with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 17.3 mm stainless steel with black DLC coating. Water-resistant - 300 meters.
The matte black dial features Arabic numerals, marks, and central hands with white luminescent. Another central hand with the red pointer is provided for installing an alarm that runs on water. The playing period is 20 seconds. The dial includes the decompression table that can be operated by rotation of the inner ring, controlled by the crown at the 4 o`clock position. The decompression table is constructed because of experiments and mathematical modeling. It reflects the dependence of the amount of absorbed inert gas and the depth of the decompression mode, the duration of immersion and the respiratory mixture.

Plexiglas is set on the front side of the case. The caseback is threefold: it acts as a resonance chamber, providing the alarm sound.
The Nautical DLC watch operates on the base of the manufacturing caliber with manual winding VULCAIN CRICKET V- 10. The mechanism consists of 157 components, collected on 25 jewels, is equipped with two barrels, one of which is provided for the operation of the caliber and the second - the alarm. The mechanism with a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, a 42- hour power reserve has the capability to display the hours, minutes, seconds, alarm and decompression tables.
The novelty comes on a rubberized black leather strap with a buckle made of stainless steel with black DLC- coating.
The Nautical DLC watch is released in a limited edition of 100 items.
