Montblanc Timepiece for Only Watch 2013

The famous watch brand Montblanc for the charity auction Only Watch 2013 has released the original model Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours for Monaco. The watch is named in honor of the genius French watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec, the inventor of the chronograph, the patent of which was obtained by him in 1822.

The novelty is presented in a round stainless steel case with double-coated carbon fiber and 18-carat pink gold. Diameter - 43 mm, thickness - 15.1 mm, water resistant - 30 meters. The crown is decorated with the Montblanc’s logo, placed at the 3 o’clock position, the rectangular chronograph button – at the 8 o’clock position.
The multi-level black dial, guilloche in Grain d'Orge, is equipped by an additional window at the 12 o’clock position with an aperture and a single arrow to indicate the hours and minutes. In the 3 o’clock position is a curly digital date aperture, while at the 9 o’clock position - the literal day of the week aperture. Indication of the day / night is is carried out through the changing of the number color on the hour pointer at the 12 o’clock position: the blue color shows the daytime, and black - the night. The 60-second and 30-minute chronograph counters on rotating discs with fixed hands are placed at the bottom of the dial.
