BaselWorld 2013: 50's President's Moonphase by Vulcain

Swiss watch brand Vulcain at the international exhibition of watches and jewelry BaselWorld 2013, has presented the model 50's President's Moonphase. It is dedicated to the legendary wristwatch with an alarm that U.S. presidents wore in the 50s of the last century (G.Trumen and Dwight Eisenhower).
The novelty is presented in two versions: 316L stainless steel and 18 carat rose gold. Both versions of the case is round, diameter 42 mm, thickness 11 mm. Water Resistant - 50 meters.
The dark gray or silver dial features Arabic numerals and three central hands, apertures of days of the week and month at the 12 o’clock position, as well as a circular aperture of date and moon phases at the 6 o'clock position. On the top of the case and on the back cover is installed a domed sapphire crystal.

The 50's President's Moonphase watch functions on the base of the automatic caliber Vulcain V-58 (base caliber ETA) at 25 jewels, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve, calendar module, which consists of 54 parts, functions of hours, minutes, seconds, date , day of week, month and moon phase. The caliber is decorated with the Côtes de Genève ornament.
The model comes on a leather strap in black or chestnut color with a clasp in 18-carat pink gold or stainless steel.
