New Clifton Watch by Baume & Mercier: luxury becomes available

Swiss company Baume & Mercier has introduced a new model Clifton, released in two versions: with a silver-colored dial Clifton Ref. M0A10052 and a black dial Clifton Ref. M0A10053. The world premiere of the new item will be held at the upcoming SIHH-2013.
The novelty lies in the round case of polished and brushed stainless steel. The case diameter is 41 mm and thickness is 11.54 mm. On the top, the case is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal, scratch resistant. Sapphire is also placed on the back cover, which is fastened to the case with 4 screws.

Clifton watches by Baume & Mercier

The dial, marked with Arabic numerals and hour-markers, is decorated with radiant satin ornament. The minute scale is located on the periphery of the dial. Date is built into the aperture located at 3 o'clock position. The small second’s hand is put to an additional display at the 6 o’clock position.
Time is indexed by the central blued steel hands.

Clifton watch caseback

The novelty functions on the base of the automatic mechanism Sellita SW260-1 with personalized rotor, decorated with Côtes de Genève pattern. Collected at 31 jewels, the caliber provides balance frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz) and a 38-hour power reserve. Bridges of the caliber are decorated with circular graining. Screws are plated with black rhodium. Mechanism functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, and date.
The watch water-resistant - 50 m.

Clifton (Ref. M0A10052)

The Clifton watch is supplied on an alligator strap in black and equipped with a triple folding clasp with safety buttons.
