New Winter Nights Watch by the Swedish Brand Gustafsson & Sjögren

The Swedish watchmaker Gustafsson & Sjögren has introduced a new model Winter Nights from the Nordic Seasons collection. The watch was developed in close cooperation with PuristSPro.

The novelty lies in a case of stainless steel and Damascus steel with a diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of 10.5 mm. On the top, the case, waterproof to 100 meters, is equipped with a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal and printed on the inner side of the logo GoS. The back cover is covered with damask glossy varnish on which is engraved the inscription «Winter Nights» «for PuristS». The crown diameter of 9 mm, set at the 3 o'clock position, has a fine-grained surface and protected by a double seal.

The dial is also made of hand-forged Damascus steel and decorated with a pattern of wild flowers (Wildflower), created by Johan Gustafsson. Hour markers, by which the dial is divided, and hands, through which the time is fixed, are made of gold, polished by hand.

The Winter Nights watch operates on the base the manufacturing movement GoS caliber 1, created in partnership with Martin Braun and Patrik Sjögren. The newly established caliber in 36 mm ensures the carrying frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and 72-hour power reserve. Bridges of the mechanism are hand-forged Damascus steel with a stylized tree ornament. The escapement is made of silicone. On the backside, there is an indicator of the power reserve.

The watch is staffed with a hand- sewn strap from soft nubuck leather, equipped by a steel buckle with a monogram GoS.
The Winter Nights watch is released in a limited quantity of 10 items. To buy the Winter Nights watch will be available through the officials of the company Gustafsson & Sjögren at a price of $ 19 000.
