Speake-Marin Presents New Resilience Watch

Just two weeks ago, an independent watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin, who is the founder of the eponymous watch company Speake-Marin, introduced a new Classic HMS collection with indication of hours, minutes and seconds. Today the brand has provided to the court of the demanding public a new line of Resilience, also adjusted the hours, minutes and seconds ... the same thing, but in a slightly different interpretation.
At first glance, the novelty is very similar to the previous one, but it is significantly different from it. A white enamel dial, past the firing in the kiln, characterizes the model Resilience. The advantage of enameled dial is what it will look like "new" for centuries. While the painted dial slowly changes color, the enameled dial retains its immaculate white and will always look new and fresh. To create a dial its copper base is covered by enamel, and then sprinkled with enamel powder by hand and placed in an oven at a temperature above 800 ° C. The process is repeated five times. After the firing process, to final polishing, the surface is applied with large black enamel roman numerals. The hands of the model are made of blued steel, the blue tone that perfectly sets off the white enamel dial.

Resilience watch

Model lies in the corporate case Piccadilly with recognizable circular shapes, a typical pleated crown and large lugs. Three-body case diameter is 38 or 42 mm, and thickness is 12 mm.
