German watch brand Sinn has become the first, whose models have been tested for compliance with technical standards for aviator watches (TeStaF - Technical Standard for Pilot's Watches) by Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
These are EZM 10 TeStaF and 103 Ti TeStaF watches, which have been thoroughly tested, including for compliance with all requirements for the measurement of time by visual flight rules or instrument flight.
It should be noted that the technical standards for aircraft models have been developed by an engineer Lothar Schmidt, Managing Director and owner of Sinn, by Dr. Frank Janser, a professor of the Aerospace Technology School at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences.

This project was another step in the existing years of close collaboration with the popular brand Sinn centers of scientific thought. Watches for divers comply DIN German Institute for Standardization and is certified Germanischer Lloyd (Hamburg) for compliance with the European standards for diving equipment.
