Novelty by Speake-Marin - Serpent Calendar Watch

Presented by Speake-Marin new Serpent Calendar watch is a new version of the Serpent watch, which became a landmark model for the brand. The novelty is externally similar to its prototype, but the design of Serpent Calendar is developed from scratch. The new watch operates on an entirely new caliber and has a newly designed dial.
Date and time is indexed by brand sculpted blued steel hands Foundation Watch. Serpentine hand of the date indicator, deliberately and with convex curved contours, move on the center of the dial, where the scale of dates with Arabic numerals.

Multi-level white dial, covered with a matt varnish, is divided by black Roman numerals, and on its periphery is set the black minute markings. The company logo is placed on the dial at 12 o'clock position and at the 6 o’clock position is the brand’s emblem - a thumbnail image of the drive wheels of an old watchmaker's lathe, made in black.
Three-layered case of the novelty, developed in the style of Piccadilly, is released in two versions: stainless steel or 18K rose gold with a diameter of 38 mm or 42 mm. Case thickness is 12 mm. The front side of the case is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. On the back side of the watch is also set a sapphire crystal. Water-resistant of the model - 30 meters.

The novelty is based on the manufactory mechanism Eros with excellent long power reserve - 120 hours. The diameter of the caliber - 30.40 mm, thickness - 4.35 mm. Caliber, collected at 35 jewels, is equipped with two winding barrels and the instantly switch date system. Balance frequency of the caliber - 28,800 vibrations per hour. Crown with three functional positions is located at the 3 o’clock position. The unique caliber is perfectly decorated; all facets of the caliber are polished by hand.
The model Serpent Calendar is available on a strap of genuine alligator leather with a pin buckle.
