Gevril Group has returned to the European market

Gevril Group, which develops watch brands Gevril, GV2, and others, has returned to the European market. The company, founded by Jacques Gevril more than two centuries ago in Switzerland, after the acquisition of shares by Samuel Freedman expands its activities in America.

After Gevril Group has strengthened its position in the U.S. market, it is decided to bring its back to the historic homeland. The European representative office is opened in Manchester, and it will be led by Jacob Dym and Ben Rose - people who devote the whole life to horology. Their responsibilities include the establishment of a productive and close relationship with European customers.
The European office will also deal with distribution of brands’ product within the Gevril Group.

Swiss watch company Gevril was founded in 1743 by Jacques Gevril, but it was registered in 1758. The brand Gevril specialized on collecting chronometers of its own development, and in 1744 Gevril created watches with repeater. After registration of the company, Jacques was designated as a courtier watchmaker of Spanish Crown, and Jacques son, Mons Gevril, was awarded as “Supreme watchmaker”.
