Trans Atlantic Watch by Jaermann & Stübi Company Specifically for Golfers

The Swiss watch company Jaermann & Stübi has announced the release of a new watch Trans Atlantic Ref. TA1 - TA4, which is the world's first chronometer for golfers, equipped with a mechanical counter and a device for converting meters to yards and vice versa distances between the holes on the golf course.
The round case of the novelty in diameter of 44mm is made of polished stainless steel with a matte finish. Waterproof to 100 meters, the case is equipped by a rotating bezel, with which the yards are translated into meters. On the front side of the case is set a sapphire crystal in 1.8 mm thick and located on the back the glass is attached on the eight screws. The crown is placed on the case at the 4 o’clock position, but in order to make it convenient to control the chronograph, the buttons are mounted on the left side of the case.

The dial is made in two versions: black or silver, decorated with the radiant finish. Time on the dial is indexed by the central hands of hours, minutes and seconds with a white phosphor composition Superluminova.
The novelty Trans Atlantic Ref. TA1 - TA4 operates on the basis of the manufacturing automatic mechanism A10, which has an official chronometer certificate of COSC. Reliable caliber with a 42-hour power reserve and balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour is collected on the 25 jewels and provides functions of hours, minutes, seconds, the number of strokes per hole, the total bill with a special hand and the current hole with retrograde central indicator at the 6 o’clock position. The mechanism is decorated with Cotes de Geneve pattern and equipped by a patented anti-shock system Shock-Guard, designed specifically for the game of golf. In caliber screws are blued.
