This name has been chosen no accidentally as the watch has absorbed all the basic elements that a talented master Peter Speake - Marin has created over the years. The model Renaissance has become a kind of revival of all the best for the entire period of the company Speake - Marin. Every piece of the model Renaissance is created and decorated entirely by hand engraving, which certainly increases the cost of watch, not only in monetary terms. The model Renaissance is equipped with a tourbillon and the minute repeater. The Renaissance design tends to the design of the first creation of Peter - a pocket watch, which he has created as an independent watchmaker. According to Peter, the main value of the model Renaissance is not so much in its functions, as well as in design, which has incorporated the best qualities of the previous models of the master. Tourbillon gives this model a visual animation, and minute repeater, over which Peter worked for several years - the musical accompaniment. The dial is skeletonized that reveals to eyes the fascinating work of the internal mechanism, which is completely decorated by hand. The skeletonized dial, in addition to the aesthetic function, and also performs technical function: it provides a deep and sonorous sound of the minute repeater. Turning the model Renaissance beautifully finished inner movement opens to eye. The engraving decorates the entire surface, even the most difficult, and each watch has a unique engraving. Minute repeater function is made by using a button located on the left side of the case, pushing which through the dial you can see all the movement work, which is accompanied by the chimes. Perfectly round case with diameter of 44 mm is made of 18 - carat red gold. The dial is protected by durable sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating that provides visibility of even the smallest detail.
Renaissance is represented in only 6 pieces. The model Renaissance is a great attribute and, in my view, a real incarnation of the traditional and complicated watch making. Today, many watch companies, seeking to gain its position in the watch market, often create incomprehensible models, which in some cases, it difficult to call a watch. Tastes are differ, however, in my opinion, this traditional horology, which for many centuries catches the eye of the true fans, will stand on the step above and the creations of Speake – Marin are vivid proof of that.

In 2004, Peter has developed a model with complete calendar, indicators of which are read by a central hand, and a second time zone. This model has gained immense popularity, and all pieces were sold.
