BaselWorld 2012: Celsius X VI II presents a unique micromechanical cell phone with built-in watch mechanism and floating tourbillon LeDIX Véloce - technology of the new century

At the annual international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 the watch company Celsius X VI II has become one of the favorites, thanks to a unique micromechanical represented phones with built-in mechanical watches. These products are a breakthrough of high-tech innovations and using the best of modern materials.
The represented model is the brainchild of four years of thorough researches and developments, a new modern form of a pocket watch. At the exhibition the company has introduced the Phone LeDIX Véloce watch, the predecessor of which first appeared in December 2010, hitting the connoisseurs of the watch world, because until then no one dared to such an avant-garde experiment in watchmaking.
LeDIX Véloce watch is based on the patented system, located in the center of the phone’s hinge mechanism and provides an additional three-hour power reserve at each opening / closing of the phone.
The mechanical watch, built into the lid of the phone - the result of exclusive developments. The watch itself occupies almost the entire free space of the phone, introducing on the front plan the most offset in the world tourbillon - 36 mm. Escapement of the mechanism is mounted on micro shock absorbers, which represent four shock-absorbing springs.
Among other things, micromechanics are also present in the device of the phone: mitigating impacts when closing the cover of the phone, automatic extraction of the battery, pivoting safety valve of the connector. In total, in a unique device are used more than 600 mechanical parts and hand finishing in the traditions of Haute Horlogerie.
The phone platform “made in France” is specially designed for LeDIX Véloce platform to optimize the technical capacity and quality. Maximum ease of use provides an easy access to phone functions.
The device LeDIX Véloce is made of titanium-5 with inserts of carbon fiber and rubber coating with black PVD.
LeDIX Véloce, as noted by the company’s representatives, is inspired in its design by the contours of a sporty car, which is repeated in the forms of the presented novelty.
For creation of a unique watch-phone took six months of hard work, 35 engineers, watchmakers and various specialists. Model LeDIX Véloce is presented in a limited edition of 18 items, the recommended price - 250,000 Euros, excluding VAT.
Among other things, the watch-phone LeDIX Véloce is attached by a set of sophisticated accessories that are specially designed for the company Celsius X VI II. The kit includes a device for charging and synchronization, called a docking station, mechanical fastening stereo headset, made for the type of "tie-pin", a cover made of genuine crocodile leather LeFourreau and chains with mechanical protection LaChaine. All this adds an ingenious pouch-holster and presentation box LeCoffret of ebony, which includes three sections and the mechanical system of the opening.
Thus, the model LeDIX Véloce is a watch-phone from titanium Grade 5 with a black PVD coating and rubber inserts and carbon fiber.

The LeDIX Véloce mechanical watch is made on the basis of a mechanical hinge system Remontage Papillon, which allows you to store and use the kinetic energy produced by the user for the watch winding. Power reserve of LeDIX Véloce is 100 hours, which is not the limit for this unique product, because at each closing / opening the phone to an existing stock of the watch adds an additional three hours.

The watch is equipped with floating tourbillon visible from the front side as well as the inside of the cover phone. By the way, the tourbillon is the most offset in the world tourbillon - by 36 mm. The course regulator of the watch is equipped with shock-absorbing stroke outboard springs.
The watch mechanism is integrated in an aluminum waterproof case, treated by the protective coating GL from titanium and ceramics, which provides extremely high security.
