The watch company Valbray, specializing in the production of luxury watches, at the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has presented a new V02 collection of incomparable models.
The company Valbray is one of the few brands, the creators of which are inspired by the four elements, each of which has its value. This, like the choice of materials, the finest finishes give to the Valbray watches an exclusive and incomparable appearance. Models of this watch company are characterized by a unique design, which is provided by 16 special blades on the dial that can be opened or closed at will. These thin blades glide over each other, disappearing and allowing to enjoy the internal design of the dial.
The characteristic pattern for the dials of the Valbray watches is saved in the models of the V02 collection. The line includes five models: Gold Tie, Red Shadow, Tangerine, Black Lemon, Cool Blue, which gives everyone the opportunity to buy a watch to your liking.
All the watches from the V02 collection are presented in round 43 mm case made of 316L stainless steel with black PVD or DLC-coated or 18 carat red gold with black bezel. New items are presented in both classic and sporty styles, using innovative technologies.
As for the watch dials, the original design registration is available here. Multi-layered dials, made in different color versions, are equipped with Arabic numerals, two skeletonized hands coated with fluorescent substance, a small second’s hand in the window at the 6 o’clock position and the date aperture at the 12 o’clock position. On the dial is placed the brand’s logo mark with the letter «V». This picture is hidden, thanks to a unique system in the form of moving 16 blades, developed by masters of Valbray. These blades are operated manually by turning the bezel at 90 degrees. If you look at a watch from the V02 collection, we can see only black blades, on which are located the hour and minute hands. The models are made in an elegant minimalist design. However, it is necessary to turn the bezel at 30 degrees and a central disc with hour and minute hands and a small second hand will appear. The second rotation of 60 degrees opens a window with all second hand and date aperture. The third rotation of 90 degrees makes it possible to enjoy the beauty of the dial.
On the back side of the watch is engraved with the expression «La vérité d'un homme c'est d 'abord ce qu'il cache», which is explained as follows: "To really understand a person, you need to slowly unveil his secrets.” This principle is a base of creation of the unique watches by Valbray, which dials are fully opened after three specific stages.
The dials are protected by a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The models are complemented by new black leather straps with yellow, blue, red, orange or beige stitching.
The models are water resistant to 50 meters and equipped by a mechanism VCA 2 with self-winding on the 26 jewels, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve of 44 hours.
The watches from the V02 collection are issued in a limited edition: models Cool Blue, Tangerine, Red Shadow - 500 items, and Gold Tie and Black Lemon - 250 items.
