BaselWorld 2012: Belle Epoque Ceramic Watch by Damiani

The watch company Damiani has presented at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2012 a wristwatch Belle Epoque Ceramic inspired the creation of "Belle Epoque" of Europe, as the name implies - Belle Epoque Ceramic, reflecting the serenity of life and development of various types of arts and sciences in Europe during this period.
Belle Epoque has remained in history as one of the most serene and magnificent periods - the period between 1890 and 1914 in European history, called the "Belle Epoque", due to the rapid technological progress and the serene flow of life. Historians have dubbed this period the "golden age" of the automotive, aeronautics, boulevards and cafes, cabarets and sea bathing. This period has remained in history as the heyday of the birth of photography and cinema, the emergence of the subway, significant advances science, technology and medicine, the emergence of new trends in the literature of modernity and modernism, archaeological discoveries, and much more.

The basis of wristwatches Belle Epoque Ceramic has become a quartz movement ETA 902,002. The watch is available in two versions: black and white clock, both models are made of high-tech ceramics.
The watch case is in diameter of 37 mm. The inner bezel of the white model is encrusted with 36 diamonds (approx. 0.18 carats) and 12 sapphires (0.29 carats). The crown is encrusted with sapphire. The dial is made of enamel and covered with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The watch water resistant is up to 50 meters. The model is equipped with a white ceramic bracelet from high-tech ceramics, consisting of 83 components, with a folding clasp.
The rotating bezel of the black model is encrusted on a circle with black diamonds (approx. 0.03 carats), the crown from stainless steel is decorated with a black diamond cabochon (approx. 0.03 carats). The dial is made of enamel and covered with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
