BaselWorld 2012: The Bichrono Tech Watch by DeLacour
The watch company DeLacour, headed by its founder Pierre Kukyani, continues the active presentation of its products at different watch exhibition. Thus, at the international watch exhibition BaselWorld 2012 the company has introduced a new model - The Bichrono Tech watch, which can be called a logical continuation of one of the earliest brand’s models, a feature of which was a dial with two symmetrically arranged dials in one case. The main purpose of this original design of the dial is to obtain three-dimensional effect, as noted by the creators of the model.
The Bichrono Tech watch is made on the basis of two automatic calibers DC 241 with a frequency balance of 28,000 vibrations per hour and 37-day power reserve. Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, time, second time zone and chronograph function.
The watch case with dimensions 55x53x13.5 mm is made of stainless steel and equipped with a sapphire crystal. Buttons and crown are both left-and right-hand side of the case. The watch water resistance is 30 meters.
The watch dial consists of two "layers": steel mesh "background" and as if the cut plates in the main background, which, factually, is the dial itself.
The left dial is equipped with green hands and three counters, located at position "3", "9" and "12" o’clock. The right dial is equipped with red hands, which counters are located at position "3", "6" and "9" o’clock, the date aperture - at the 5 o’clock position.
All hour indexes are covered with fluorescent compound. The watch strap is made of genuine crocodile leather with steel buckle.
