New Solar-powered GPS-watch by Seiko Astron GPS Solar

The watch company Seiko at the annual international exhibition BaselWorld2012 will present the world's first solar-powered GPS-wristwatches Astron GPS Solar.
Japanese masters have created a revolutionary model that takes the satellite signals and determining the time zone, date and current time with the use of satellite navigation GPS. For creating the most precious watch inventive Japanese have combined the solar panel with a GPS sensor. It took several years for designing and creation of GPS-receiver with the revolutionary element of power, based on low power consumption (battery charging is carried out by the sun's energy through the built-in solar battery). Masters of Seiko have patented the revolutionary technology of satellite navigation device that runs on solar battery.
The Astron GPS Solar watch receive signals GPS, recognizing all 39 time zones on Earth.
The watch is issued up in several versions - in the case of stainless steel, steel with PVD-coated titanium, and high concentrations, characterized by exceptional strength and lightness (135 gr., almost two times lighter than stainless steel). Easy to read dial with applied hour indices and skeletonized central hands is protected with a sapphire crystal in Super-Clear-coating, providing an additional protection from scratching and reflections of light.
The rotating bezel is made of ceramic. The round case with a diameter of 47 mm and a thickness of 16.5 mm is waterproof to a depth of 100 meters.
The watch is completed with high quality quartz movement with an accuracy of stroke 7X52 + / -15 seconds per month at a temperature of 5 ℃ to 35 ℃. Seiko Astron GPS Solar is equipped with the following features: display local time, date, calendar, perpetual calendar (until February 2100), GPS-signal reception at the touch of a button, world time (39 time zones), daylight saving time and energy saving.
