Linea Collection by Baume & Mercier at SIHH 2012

The renowned watch company Baume & Mercier at the Geneva exhibition SIHH 2012 has introduced new models (Ref. 10 070, 10 071, 10 072, 10 073, 10 074) from the Linea collection.
Since its creation to the present day the watch brand remains true to its style, equipping the models with timeless elegance and cutting-edge style. The first wristwatch of the Linea line was developed in 1987. Subsequently released models from the collection continued to maintain the same style as the first model. The hour markers, engraved on the bezel, give the watch a recognizable image that has been preserved up to this day.

The watch company Baume & Mercier presents a collection of Linea, complete with new models of Ref. 10 070, 10 071, 10 072, 10 073, 10 074 with 32 mm cases and quartz or automatic mechanisms. In addition, these models are equipped with transparent back sapphire glass, which allow enjoying the work of the mechanism. The new models with diamonds on bezel and mother of pearl dial have a gorgeous look.
The Linea 10 070, 10 071, 10 072 watches - round cases of the models in diameter of 32 mm and a thickness of 8.3 mm are made of polished and satin steel. A model of 10 070 has a bezel, marked by Arabic numerals, and at 10 071 and 10 072 watches are recorded only the numbers 12 and 6. The remaining hour markers are replaced with diamonds. Model 10 070 is made in silver color performance, while the two other models 10 071 10 072 have pearly dials. Three models have at the 6 o'clock position the date aperture, and at 12 o'clock is the brand’s logo. Since there is an additional leather strap with the 10 070 watch, and with 10 071 and 10 072 models - black satin straps. These three models are equipped with Swiss quartz movement Ronda 705.
Model 10 073 is made in a round case with a diameter of 32 mm and thickness of 10 mm in polished and satin steel. Arabic hour markers are marked on the bezel and on the silver dial there is the brand’s logo - ai the 12 o'clock position and the date aperture - at the 6 o’clock position. The model is complemented of two-tone stainless steel bracelet. With the watch an extra satin brown strap is attached to. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial. The back side of the watch is also closed by a sapphire glass which allows enjoying the work of an automatic mechanism ETA 2892-A2 / Sellita SW300 with the rotor, decorated in the style of «Côtes de Genève». The mechanism is built on 25 jewels, power reserve - 42 hours. The watch water-resistant - 50 meters.

The 10 074 watch - in comparison with the 10 073 watch, the model 10 074 is represented in one color. The silver case with a diameter of 32 mm and thickness of 10 mm in harmony combines with mother of pearl dial. Arabic hour markers are marked on the bezel and the dial are marked with diamonds. The aperture of the date, as in previous models, is located at the 6 o’clock position. The watch on both sides is closed with a sapphire crystal. The steel case harmoniously combines with the steel bracelet, which has a triple folding clasp with lock. The watch water-resistant is 50 meters. The model is equipped with an automatic ETA 2892-A2 / Sellita SW300 on the 25 jewels; power reserve is of 42 hours. Details of the mechanism are decorated with the «Côtes de Genève» pattern. All the models of the Linea collection will be available from May 2012.
