New collection Bals de Légende by the company Van Cleef & Arpels at the exhibition SIHH 2012

The dials of these novelties, as well as any model by the company Van Cleef & Arpels, are presented in the original designing version. This watch collection was released after creation of delightful jewelry, stunning with their unique brilliance and charm. The collection is devoted to the theme of "Legendary balls" - a historical event that has always attracted attention. As you know, balls were held for a long time, it was a prestigious event, attended by kings, famous people in various costumes and robes.

The famous company Van Cleef & Arpels has decided to implement themes and traditions of the balls in its incomparable jewelry and wrist watches, which is unique in the world. Made of precious stones these four models have become the embodiment of legendary balls, held in the Russian Empire, Paris, Venice and New York.
The first model of the collection Bals de Légende is ladies watch Bal du Palais d'Hiver with a picture of a Russian fairy tale. The dial of the model Bal du Siècle is excellent moment of the ball. The mother of pearl dial is equipped with dancing figures at the top and designed by beautiful flowers - at the bottom. At the ball, he invited 500 of the most famous people in the world, who came up with clothing appropriate to the theme "Black and White." It was all in black – white on April 28, 1966 in the evening hall of Plaza Hotel in New York. The model dedicated to the ball, which was in New York, also made in black - white. Bal Proust - the latest model has been developed in the theme of the ball, which took place in Paris, was organized by the Baroness Guy de Rothschild in honor of the writer Marcel Proust. This wrist watch has case made of white gold with diameter of 38 mm and bezel is set with diamonds. Like all models of this collection, the top of the dial is also decorated with the scene of the ball in the form of different shapes. The lower part of the dial is decorated with different patterns. The white alligator strap with gold buckle completes the model. The automatic movement with 24-hour time display provides a slow motion of figures depicted on the dial. This model is complemented by leather strap with gold buckle.
