Van Cleef & Arpels presents a Poetic Wish watch with a new mechanism
The watch company Van Cleef & Arpels has announced a new magnificent watch movement, the built-in the case of the Poetic Wish watch. The novelty will be presented at the upcoming SIHH 2012.
Within a few years for its amazing collection of "poetic complications" the watch company Van Cleef & Arpels preferred to use caliber Agenhor, which is produced by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht.
For creating whimsical figures on the dial, Van Cleef & Arpels also enjoyed high-quality components Agenhor, made by Jaeger-Le Coultre. However, for presentation at the SIHH 2012 show the company will introduce a completely new innovative mechanism Agenhor by own production.
The novelty is based on a constant escapement, complicated with a central five-minute repeater. On the dial of the model is placed a retrograde in the form of animation that comes in motion while rotating the winding head, located at the 2 o’clock position.
The central minute repeater is presented by the two hammers and activated by turning one of the heads mounted on the case side. Using three barrels provides a 60-hour power reserve. The unique caliber Agenhor is modified by the constantly running seconds indicator and large hour and minute displays.
The new item by Van Cleef & Arpels – the poetic watch Poetic Wish- at the exhibition will be presented in male and female versions.
