Observatoire 1872 Repetition Minutes Watch at GTE 2012
The legendary Swiss watchmaker Badollet, known with its models, at the Geneva show in 2012 GTE has presented an exclusive model Observatoire 1872 Repetition Minutes.
An elegant watch with a round case in diameter of 44 mm is made of 18 carat white gold. Its design execution is reminiscent of the pocket watch style in 19th century. The Observatoire 1872 Repetition Minutes watch is devoted to the historical past of the company, when in 1872 the models of the brand won three first prizes at the Geneva competition Concours de l'Observatoire.
The dial, the outer part of which is decorated with 72 diamonds and 12 sapphires, harmonizes with an elegant case. The right side of the dial is guilloche and decorated with brand’s logo and the left side is skeletonized. At 6 o’clock position is a "flying" tourbillon. The dial is equipped with two hands, made of blue steel. The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with antiglare coating on both sides. The model is complemented by the black leather strap with a white gold buckle. The watch is equipped by a manufactory mechanism BAD 1655 with manual winding, a 80-hour power reserve, a "flying" tourbillon and minute repeater.
