Vulcain вЂ“ a new watch with dragon

The watch company Vulcain has expanded the list of chronometers on the new dragon year with new model. The new model is called Cricket Aviator GMT "The Dragon" Enamel Cloisonne (Ref. 100508.181L) - as the name implies, the dragon is depicted on an enamel dial in cloisonné technique.

Widely opened mouth of the dragon bites the four central hands of Cricket Aviator GMT "The Dragon" Enamel Cloisonne (Ref. 100508.181L). Three of them have traditional functions (hours, minutes and seconds) and they are covered with white fluorescent compound. The fourth central hand (with a red tip) belongs to an alarm, playing time is up to 20 seconds. This watch also displays the world time with 24-hour scale on the edge of the dial, inscribed with the names of cities, representing every time zone of the planet.

Hands as well as watch case are made of 18 carat pink gold. The case diameter is 42 mm (or 51 if we consider the length of lugs for the watch strap), the thickness is 14.5 mm and water resistance is up to 100 meters. The model Cricket Aviator GMT "The Dragon" Enamel Cloisonne (Ref. 100508.181L) is equipped with manufactory movement Cricket V-13 with manual winding and power reserve of 42-hour. This mechanism consists of 157 parts, 17 jewels, two winding drum and system Exactomatic, which provides the regularity of the amplitude of 18 000 vph, and improves the accuracy of the chronometer.

An optional second crown at the position 4 o’clock and a button at the position 2 o’clock control the functions Cricket Aviator GMT "The Dragon" Enamel Cloisonne (Ref. 100508.181L). The dial is protected by a convex sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, which improves the readability of the clock. The role of the camera, providing the necessary vibrancy to the alarm, performs a special double case back.

The model Cricket Aviator GMT "The Dragon" Enamel Cloisonne (Ref. 100508.181L) comes with black alligator-skin strap with gold buckle (18 carat pink gold). The model has issued in limited edition of only 30 pieces.
