At the GTE 2012 the watchmaker Pierre Thomas has presented unique models of the watches with individual characteristics and specific features.
The luxury model Tourbillion XXL Salamander has a dial which is decorated with a figure of salamander in chiseled mother-of-pearl. The image of a salamander, adorning the arms of King Francis 1, represents purity and the desire for life in all situations.
In an elegant round case, made of red gold, is integrated a historical mechanism Fontainemelon, released in 1870 with a carrying frequency of 21 600 vph and 60-hour power reserve.
The model Historique Tourbillon with mother-of-pearl dial is made of gray and pink gold weighing 95 grams. The round case has a diameter of 49 mm and a thickness of 12.70 mm. Tourbillon watch is designed on the basis of the manufacturing movement PT 2010 with 19 lines of the mechanical workshop Fontainemelon (CH), whose foundation dates back to 1870. Mechanism performs 21 600 vph, and added with a perfect tourbillon XXL in diameter of 16 mm. All parts are completely made by hand and carefully polished. Presented at the exhibition the Historique Grande Seconde watch has a convex cylindrical case of 18K pink gold, or gray. Dial with applied hour indices is made of black mother-of-pearl or a meteorite. The model is based on a mechanical 19-linear caliber PT 2010 from Fontainemelon (CH), developed in 1930. The carrying frequency of the mechanism is 18 000 vph. The strap of genuine alligator leather is equipped with a gold buckle.
